Research has shown that cluster grouping enhances the academic achievement for gifted children—as well, the practice supports social development and academic self-esteem. How can schools effectively implement cluster grouping? How can they ensure that all of their students thrive when gifted and talented learners are clustered together for differentiated opportunities? From theory to practice, this session will provide insights into cluster grouping. Participants will learn more about the strong research support for cluster grouping, as well as hear more about the years of data collected by one Iowa district, demonstrating impressive student growth.
